Good morning, Sir. I just checked with our technician, our dual esc is compatible with FW VESC.
So could you tell me that why would you think like that?
Hi,
Thanks for having a look at our thread.
This is just a thought because on pictures, I can only see one MCU and one DRV for driving 2 motors.
I already digged into creating my own dual VESC using only one MCU (but still a DRV per motor, hence 2), but it’s way more complicated than only duplicate mcpwm.c files
So, could you confirm the HW setup on your board ? (if you’re willing to, you’re not obliged )
Anyway, as I told on our French e-riders Facebook group, I’m glad that a company makes some innovation into VESC project !
I follow VESC project quite closely now (participated to Beta program, made (merged) pull requests, and so on.) and there are not a lot of innovation into it.
What would be great (even mandatory) is to keep this project into an Open Source spirit and thus comply to the according licence by sharing your schematics.
Open Source and business are not ennemies !
Hi, yes, I’ve been reading the thread since it’s created
And maybe it’s because the photo, but our dual ESC has two MCU and two DRV.
More photos shall be released tomorrow, I will post them here for your closer observation.
Thanks for that Mr. Flipsky [emoji1305]
Hello, quelques news des dual FESC.
Thanks, Cedric.
And I know you guys can see the specs and features from our website, but I will just post here to save your step of page-jumping

So here it’s, you guys are free to ask any questions. Oh, advice are also welcomed!
Looks good, any idea of the price?

Yes, retail price is $350, but we’re having a promotion on it, you can get it with $300+free shipping. You may find the promotion on our Facebook homepage.
Thanks Mr Flipsky for the specs.
Still, I’m not confident with this kind of PCB stack.
I mean, separate power and control stages is a good thing though, but I do remember VESC 5 design made by Vedder.
His idea was to stack, as you did, because he wanted to get rid of EMI on the control part.
However, he had a lot of trouble with the DRV because it was too far from the Mosfet gates, creating transcient voltage issues.
So he ended up with the VESC 6 layout that lowers this distance (This layout also "inspired"Enertion for the FOCBOX).
Did you perfom a bunch of heavy tests in FOC 12S ? No DRV errors ?
Morning, Sir.
Actually my name is Iris, but Mr.Flipsky sounds adorable anyway.
We don’t have test in FOC 12S yet, but we have done a lot of tests, including road test, in FOC 10S and so far there is no problem. But still, We will find some time to test our dual esc in FOC 12S.
If you got no time, or not sure to could try it soon, we could do it for you haha
Thanks for your work and feedback here
Thank you!
Benji will test for us in the next week maybe.
The best configuration for pushing those to the limit is a mountainboard, for sure !
