the reason why we are using the insert is, that if the threads in the the mount are destroyed by screwing in with too much force the mount is destroyed, since Aluminium is a quite soft material. The threads are gone then.
If we are using inserts, the inserts can be replaced by a new insert and glued in with Loctite 648 which then is holding again. It’s really a matter of force, I had exactly that problem of damaged threads with 4 destroyed Alien mounts which I had to throw away and that’s the reason why we came up with that solution. It’s not perfect, but we don’t know another solution yet for this problem.
Son approche est pas mauvaise je trouve. Et comme toujours, il assure grave niveau SAV.
Comme le motor mount avait tendance à jouer, j’ai pas mal forcé sur le serrage. J’ai pas voulu mettre le loctite car j’étais en mode réglage.
D’ailleurs, quelqu’un sait où on peut trouver du Loctite dans un magasin en dur et pas sur internet ?
j’en utilise perso 2 de la marque team corally ,200 pour les petites vis et 400 pour les grosses
avec 3000 km cumuler sur mes 3 planches j’ai jamais resserrer la moindre vis
Pour les inserts, la solution de l’helicoil fonctionne très bien, c’est un filet rapporté acier qui reprend mieux les efforts et les transmet à l’alu, tu pourrais les reprendre.
Sinon en dancing tu peux trouver une Bedeux Grinta en occasion, elles sont top. Je ne connais pas les boards Original, mais on m’a parlé de problème de qualité et de bois de cagette… (peut-être pour ça qu’ils les livrent avec des protections ) et Daddiesboardshop les a déréférencés :
