Confi à 450€ sans planche

de mon coté, DIYes n’a pas été correct dans la communication (il m’indique que tout est en stock et finalement ça part avec 1 mois de retard) et je suis un peu déçu par le mount qui glisse (malgré colle Epoxy) un peu. Difficile à bien régler ce mount (mais c’est peut être le cas de tous les mounts…)

Par contre, moins cher que les autres, car aucun frais de douane… VESC à 100$, batterie 10S3P à 300$…

Je lui ai reparlé hier soir (avant le match ahah) et il m’a encore annoncé 2 semaines de délais et que ma commande était la prochaine sur la liste ( il me le dit depuis 2semaines) donc stop, j’ai demandé le remboursement et je suis allé tout commander chez esk8.de, j’en ai eu pour un peu plus cher mais j’ai pris un moteur plus puissant 6374 et au moins je n’aurai pas de frais de douane … !

Voilà, dès que je recois ca je pourrais enfin m’y mettre ^^ construire un esk8 c’est aussi apprendre à etre patient visiblement :wink:

Je suis également en train de réfléchir sur un ce type de config… et je me pose quelques questions:

  • On peut espérer combien d’autonomie avec les 2 batteries de 5000maH en // (et du standard roues/ratio) ?
  • Pour le chargement, faut il charger les 2 batteries indépendamment ?
  • Pour le freinage, ca se passe comment ?
  • quid du cache batteries / vesc ?

1. tout va dépendre de ton poids, de ton moteur, du terrain où tu rides etc. mais tu devrais tourner entre 25 et 30km
2. oui si tu ne mets pas de BMS, donc démontage du capot pour chaque charge. Avec un BMS tu pourras recharger tout d’un coup et sans démonter le capot. Il faudra juste laisser sortir de ton cache la petite fiche qui va bien.
3. géré par le VESC, lorsque tu fais aller la gachette de ta remote dans le sens inverse, tu freines.
4. à réaliser soit même . Tout est possible, tupperware, bois, epoxy fibre de verre, epoxy carbone. Tu trouveras pas mal de tuto ou de pas à pas sur les posts des projets déjà finalisé

Petit retour sur DIY, j’ai commandé chez lui tout mon matos. Tout es arrivé dans les temps Sauf le VESC et bien qu’il ait été Out of stock stock au moment de l’achat il aura mis 3 mois a arrivé (je suis au USA). Je pense qu’il m’avait oublier car un batch m’est passé sous le nez.
C’etait galère d’avoir des infos, ne repondait pas aux mail et quand il a finalment ete envoyé jai pas recu de notif…

C’est dommage car le matos est de bonne qualité et les prix correct mais le service client mauvais alors que c’est la base absolue de tout business qui se respecte (surtout au USA).

Même remarque pour moi, aucune info ne me parvient
Le plus troublant c’est que quand je veux me connecter à mon compte client, il ne me connait pas…
Je dois donc me connecter à son chat sur son site et là il me répond.
Mais à chaque fois, c’est pas de sa faute, ça part la semaine suivante, blablabla.
Bref, première et dernière fois chez lui. :evil:

I am very saddened as well as frustrated with the news I have read here by no fault is it any of yours but our own. A poster here showed me to this post otherwise I wouldn’t have noticed it.

We have had some growth issues most recently within the last few months and delivery times/dates with our VESCs have been halted and delayed time and time again.

I am most deeply sorry for any delays and issues we have caused in you building your DIY electric skateboard.

We have been working on re-stocking much more than we anticipate to prevent any further complications. It is our goal to ship out out as soon as possible once orders come in. It is our fault for not having enough inventory on hand and it is something we are working on.

I like to focus on high quality items and do not want to sell something that I don’t approve of on my own or that I wouldn’t use myself. VESC’s have been a long battle but we have since then resolved all of our production issues. Our next order for VESCs which is Batch #3 should be received this upcoming Tuesday. We have a production order of 400 VESCs which should keep us in stock for a little bit until our next production run.

Originally, they were done and we had a few hiccups.

  1. Wrong capacitor was used and I would not want to ship our VESCs with an incorrect capacitor or non-branded as this case. As I said, I would prefer a few mad customers over not shipping on time rather than a product which I’m not happy about in the end. As a product which I’m not happy about will affect all customers versus a few who were in urgent need of it. Although, this is still not an excuse as we are working hard to provide high quality parts in a convenient time frame.

Unlike our competitors, we don’t try and sell you one thing and deliver you something totally different.

  1. We received our Batch #2 order but needed to make adjustments to about 40 pcs and unfortunately this batch there was no testing on our manufacturer end. All the testing was in-house. We have since added testing on our manufacturer end and we will be doing a second round of testing on our end once we do receive our products as another quality assurance measure.

What need improvement is just the communication, what we don´t like:

  • Unless we go on the Chat we don’t get answer, while email is still the first mean of communication.
  • We would not get firm leadtime, I understand some things can take time and I prefer being told straight away.
  • Back ordered product might be sent without notice.

What I like:

  • quality products
  • good prices
  • detailed website

I’d still order from DIY for theses reasons.

I would like to say exactly the same asdrassak.
I can understand that you had so issues with the production quality, or delays or whatever.
But as we already paid for it, it’s quite obvious we want to be kept up to date with the latest news and don’t discover on your website (that means we have to go on your website often) that the batch after ours is already sent !
Just push more news to your waiting customers, and everything could be more simple and relax (and we were probably not here to discuss about that).

One more thing for my personal experience.

Actually, I have to say this is WRONG.
I ordered on motor mount in your shop because you provide blue color which was a requirement for my “Blue board” project (that makes sense, isn’t it ? :slight_smile: ).
I was so disappointed to receive, 2 months after the order because of the VESC issues, a BLACK motor mount.

So, for me :

  • First order in your shop
  • Long delay without news
  • Wrong product delivered

Regarding this summary, should I be enthusiastic speaking about DIY ES ?
